I have lived in previous shared houses and they are not a patch on this property. I think it’s great how you treat all your tenants with respect and understanding and as equals, The amenities this house has are amazing. How many shared houses have a dish washer, high grade cooking facilities and washer/dryer?

About Us

Rooms2letGrimsby.com was set up in 2008 to market shared houses in the Grimsby area owned by Peter Reid and Sara Short who have been providing this type of accommodation in Grimsby since 2005. We both have experience of being tenants in shared houses ourselves having rented rooms in shared houses as students in Dundee then as young working people in Scunthorpe and Blackburn.

Our goal is to improve the standard of shared accommodation in the region and to alter peoples’ perceptions about what shared houses are like. Already we feel that we are well on our way to achieving this goal although we do not intend to sit on our laurels.

Most of our tenants are young working people who view living in a shared house to be an affordable way to provide a roof over their heads whilst not having to worry about bills other than their rent.

Many see shared accommodation as being a great way to live whilst saving up a deposit on a house they wish to buy or moving on to renting a house of their own. Some just don’t want the responsibility of having to budget for things like gas and electricity in these days of massively rising fuel prices whilst others like the flexibility living in a shared house offers.

We do also cater for the more mature tenant and tend to reserve one or two properties specifically for older working people!
